About AuraPoints
What AuraPoints.world is, where the Aura meme came from, and what we do (and never do) with your profile.
AuraPoints.world is a social game. You claim a profile, share your link, and other people decide — one point at a time — how much Aura you have. That's the whole product. There is no secret algorithm, no AI, and no way to buy Aura.
Where this came from
“Aura” started as a way of talking about presence: the mix of attitude, timing and luck that makes someone stand out in a three-second clip. That gave us aura points, aura farming, and the habit of adding or subtracting points from a friend over absolutely nothing. We just built the scoreboard.
How the score works
Every vote is worth exactly +1 or -1. We don't inflate the numbers with hundreds or thousands, because then the score would stop meaning anything. A profile sitting on 12,842 Aura has received 12,842 real movements.
Every vote is stored as a ledger entry, so a score can always be rebuilt from its history. When we find fraud, we correct it against that history rather than editing the number by hand.
What we are not
- Not a social network: no followers, no feed, no private messages.
- Not a measure of anyone's worth. It's a game.
- Not selling Aura. We never will.
Who runs it
A small independent project. If something breaks, or you see a profile that shouldn't exist, reach us from the contact page.
